Relationship marketing was first defined as a form of marketing developed from direct response marketing campaigns which emphasizes customer retention and satisfaction, rather than a dominant focus on sales transactions. When an implementation is effective, people, processes, and technology work in synergy to increase profitability, and reduce operational costs.

A. What u think are the components of general management. Infact some of the books even specify more components. The four components of the Marketing are nothing but 4ps -Product, price, Place, Promotion. But if you are marketing a service, u got to add three more Ps 'viz, Process, people and Physical envirinment. so Product marketing - 4ps services marketing - 7 ps. Unless sepcifically mentioned, marketing should be taken as product marketing only
